Giresi Wedding

Lindsay Gordan & Mike Giresi are married!

It was an epic day full of big smiles invariably the reaction to Mike’s signature laugh which is distinct, constant & contagious.

Here is the beautiful Lindsay & her daughter Emerson. My fave flower girl. Hi Emmy!
We shot the frames below outside the reception at Dante Club with the passing cars & gas station lights blurring in the background. The pizza boxes below were the aptly conceived concept of my good friend Victoria of Victoria’s Decor. Pizza by Giresi. The best pizza in Sarnia!

Brothers Mike, Matt & Marcus are in an awesome band called Chocolate Robots. Check out their music here.

Julie DeMarco & Chris Lassaline were married on a brisk autumn day on October 17, 2009.

The scarlet & golden leaves blended & blurred into a beautiful backdrop.

This post is in memory of Julie’s brother Bobby.

The Groomsmen waited for their ride to the wedding at the Boys Bus Stop at the Huron Boys Home. We made our way to the blusterous beach to snap a few striking shots in front of a stormy sky.

Pavey Wedding

Finally back to blogging. I still have to post a few more weddings from 2009 so stay tuned!

Christine McCullough & Jeremy Pavey were married on October 3, 2009 with weather much like the cold December day Jeremy proposed to Christine in 2007. Despite the rain we stayed warm in my studio, dancing to music & finding ways to get creative with red gafer’s tape.

The rain cleared for a brief time allowing us to run into the streets before it started to rain again.
Here’s the future of wedding photography. This junior bridesmaid borrowed my 70-200 and shot the entire reception with me. She was a natural talent. Hopefully we can recruit her to join Team Barefeet in the near future.
